If Milena Canonero taught us anything with her delicious costumes from the 2006 move Marie Antoinette, it is that with some modern touches and sensibilities the fashions of the past can look as contemporary and up to date as the reigning fashions of our day.

Nouveaux Galerie Des Modes is a collection of photographic fashion plates depicting some of my 18th century inspired outfits and items! The name comes from the Galerie Des Modes, a famous fashion publication from France at the end of the 1700's
